The Cassia Alata

After several trips all over the world, she decided to spend some time in Madagascar which she knew was home to exceptional plant diversity and where plants played a key role in traditional medicine.

She spent several weeks trekking through the tropical rainforest in search of a rare ingredient and conversing with the local populations to find out about and immerse herself in their ancestral customs.

It was during one of these special encounters with Malgasy women that Agnès learned of a plant with healing virtues that they use to protect their skin whilst pregnant.

After an initial analysis of the plant that proved she really was in possession of a rare treasure, Agnès returned to France and began two years of research and scientific tests that ended with a patent registration  >> in 2010.
